Our Temple Treasure Hunt is not far from the St Paul’s route and links nicely up with Fleet Street and Covent Garden. Temple is named after the Temple Church believed to have been built on the site of a roman temple and was the most famously home of the Knights Templar.

Knights would travel to the crusades  in pairs sharing a single horse having forsaken all their personal wealth.

The area is famous for the legal chambers which fill the local streets, hardly surprising considering its proximity to the Royal Courts of Justice.

There are some lovely old pubs in the area such as Ye Lode Cheshire Cheese which has to been seen to be believed and the Tipperary beloved by the old hacks of Fleet Street.

Just up the road we have St Clement Danes Church which serves to remember the men and women of the RAF. There are also lots of modern restaurants in the area so stopping for lunch can easily be incorporated into your London treasure hunt.

If you have a large group then why not add our St Pauls or Covent garden packages to extend your day at no extra cost!
