The London away day that feels like leaving London

Every other London route is a city route. Greenwich is not. Teams climb an actual hill through the park to reach the observatory and the best view in London, wander the colonnades and painted grounds of the Old Royal Naval College down by the river, duck through a Victorian tunnel under the Thames, and hunt through a market packed with detail – all without it ever feeling like the usual few streets around an office.

It’s the closest thing London has to a proper away day, and there’s genuine space to spread out – a group of two hundred doesn’t feel remotely like a crowd here, which most city-centre routes simply can’t offer.

Every event is fully managed: iPads, a live app and leaderboard, a bespoke route and a ClueGo event manager onsite from briefing to final scores.

Greenwich Routes and Start Points

Your event starts from your own venue, or from the town centre if your team is travelling in. Routes cover the town, the park and the riverside.

The Old Royal Naval College

The painted hall, the colonnades and the grounds running down to the river — the most photographed part of the route.

Greenwich Park and the Observatory

The hill, the meridian line and the view back across the river to the towers. Worth the climb.

The market and the town centre

Covered, compact and full of detail, with the finish options clustered around it.

The Cutty Sark and the riverside

The ship, the pier and the foot tunnel entrance.

The foot tunnel and Island Gardens

The Victorian tunnel under the Thames, and the view back at Greenwich from the north bank.

The park gives genuine space for large groups — this is one of the few London routes where numbers are not a constraint.

How a ClueGo Event Works in Greenwich

You give us a date, a group size and a start point. We take it from there.

A ClueGo event manager arrives ahead of your team, runs the briefing and hands out the iPads. The app guides each team using GPS, unlocking challenges, photo tasks and puzzles at each hotspot, with a live leaderboard running throughout.

Events run two to three hours as standard, or longer if you are building a full day around them. They go ahead in all weather, and our indoor games are available if you would rather not gamble on the forecast.

Summer socials. The obvious use of a warm day, finishing by the river with a drink in hand.

Client and partner events. Somewhere visiting guests will genuinely remember, with the view from the hill to prove it.

Team celebrations. End of year, end of project, or the quarter that finally went well.

Christmas parties. Festive routes through the market, for teams swapping the usual sit-down dinner for something people still talk about in January.

FAQ

your QUESTIONS answered

It does not have to be. The Observatory climb is optional — we can build a route that stays entirely in the town and along the riverside, or one that gives teams the choice of a harder high-scoring leg up the hill and an easier alternative. Tell us about your group and we will design accordingly.

Any size. Greenwich is one of the few London locations where the space genuinely is not a constraint — the park absorbs numbers that a city centre route could not handle.

Events are priced per person and fully inclusive — event manager, all iPads and equipment, custom route design and full event management. There are no venue fees for outdoor events. Send your date and group size and we will come back within 30 minutes.

Most groups come by DLR to Cutty Sark, which is straightforward from the City and Canary Wharf. The Thames Clipper from central London is slower but considerably more enjoyable, and works well as part of a full day.

Yes, and this is the London route where that makes most sense. A common shape is a morning session at your venue, the hunt through the middle of the day, and lunch or dinner in the town afterwards.

No. We bring iPads pre-loaded with the app, and your event manager looks after all the kit on the day.

Events run in all weather, and the covered market gives a mid-route option. For dates you would rather not gamble on, our indoor games bring the same competitive fun inside your venue.
