ClueGo turns the city of Oxford into a competitive playing field with fully managed GPS treasure hunts. Your team gets iPads, a live app, a bespoke route and an experienced ClueGo event manager onsite from the briefing to the final scores.
It is a genuinely competitive event rather than a guided walk with a quiz sheet — but it happens to run through some of the best-looking streets in the country.
Oxford Routes and Start Points
Your event starts from wherever you are based for the day — your hotel, your conference venue, a college you have hired, or your own office if you are local. We design the route outwards from your start point so nobody has to be gathered together in a public square before anything can begin.

Building the Full Day
Teams travelling to Oxford usually want more than two hours of activity to justify the journey, so most of our work here sits inside a fuller day.
A typical shape: morning session at your venue, hunt through the middle of the day, lunch or dinner booked at the finish point. We time the route so the results ceremony lands exactly when you want it to, and we can compress to 90 minutes or stretch across a half day depending on what else is in the agenda.
If you have hired a college or a conference venue with grounds, some events can run largely within the property. Tell us where you are based and we will tell you what is possible.

How much does a team building day in Oxford cost?
Events are priced per person and fully inclusive — event manager, all iPads and equipment, custom route design and full event management from booking to final scores. There are no venue fees for outdoor events. Send your date and group size and we will come back within 30 minutes.
Our team is travelling in for the day. Where should we start?
From wherever you are based — your hotel, the conference venue or the college you have hired. We build the route outwards from that point, so your team never has to be assembled somewhere public. If you have not booked a venue yet, tell us your numbers and we can suggest areas that work well as a start and finish.
Can we build this into a full day rather than just an activity slot?
Yes, and most Oxford bookings do. A common shape is a morning session at your venue, the hunt through the middle of the day, and lunch or dinner at the finish point. We time the route so the results land exactly when you need them to.
Do you go inside the colleges?
Routes run through the streets, squares and public spaces rather than inside college buildings, which means no admission charges and no access restrictions to work around. If you have hired a college as your venue, we can start and finish there.
What group sizes can you cater for?
We cater to teams of any size! Small teams run as a single competitive hunt; large groups are split into balanced teams by the app, all on one live leaderboard.
What happens if it rains?
Events run in all weather. For dates where you would rather not gamble, our indoor games bring the same competitive fun inside your venue, and we can hold both options open until close to the date.
Do we need our own phones?
No. We bring iPads pre-loaded with the app, and your event manager looks after all the kit on the day.
