Southwark has been London’s playground for a thousand years – theatres, bear pits and the city’s less regulated evenings all happened south of the river, and the streets still have that character. Teams chase clues past the Globe, along Bankside’s riverfront, and through Clink Street’s narrow, genuinely atmospheric lanes down to the old wharves. It’s dense, varied and full of things worth photographing at every turn.
That same history is what makes the finish so good, too. Borough Market alone solves feeding a group with fifteen different dietary requirements, and the pubs, restaurants and riverside terraces around it mean the hunt ends somewhere worth sticking around for.
Every event is fully managed: iPads, a live app and leaderboard, a bespoke route and a ClueGo event manager onsite from briefing to final scores.

How a ClueGo Event Works in Southwark
You give us a date, a group size and a start address. We take it from there.
A ClueGo event manager arrives at your venue, runs the briefing and hands out the iPads. The app guides each team using GPS, unlocking challenges, photo tasks and puzzles at each hotspot, with a live leaderboard running throughout.
Most events run two to three hours including briefing and results. They go ahead in all weather, and our indoor games bring the same competitive format inside your venue if you would rather not gamble on the date.

Can we finish at Borough Market?
Yes, and a lot of groups do. It handles a large group with mixed dietary requirements better than almost any restaurant would, and we time the route so the results ceremony lands when you get there. Worth knowing the market is quieter early in the week.
How much does an event in Southwark cost?
Events are priced per person and fully inclusive — event manager, all iPads and equipment, custom route design and full event management. There are no venue fees for outdoor events. Send your date and group size and we will come back within 30 minutes.
Can we cross the river?
Yes. The Millennium Bridge takes you to St Paul’s and the Southwark Bridge and London Bridge crossings both work. Crossing suits a longer format; for a compressed event we keep the whole route on the south bank.
Is the market too busy on a Friday or Saturday?
It can be. We know which parts of the route congest and when, and we design around them — either by shifting the timing, using the quieter streets behind the market, or finishing somewhere with more room.
Where do events start and finish?
Your event starts from your own office, hotel or venue rather than a public meeting point. Finishes are flexible, and most groups end at the market or on the riverside.
Do we need our own phones?
No. We bring iPads pre-loaded with the app, and your event manager looks after all the kit on the day
What happens if it rains?
Events run in all weather, and the market halls give a covered option mid-route. For dates you would rather not gamble on, our indoor games bring the same competitive fun inside your venue
