A Look At This Years Best Venues For Events

2015 has been a fantastic year for us and a very busy time for our team. We’ve had the pleasure of starting and finishing our events at some great venues this year which has allowed us to improve our service and offer even more help to our clients when planning their event.

Lots of our clients have chosen to start their events at their offices which works really well, in most cases there is a municipal area that teams can gather and we can do our opening brief. However the final venue works better if its near the treasure hunt area itself . We look for venues that we can gather the clients into one area, get them some refreshment and occasionally suitable for a meal.

Venues that also offer a large TV or projector screen are also a bonus as it allows us to provide the event photos and videos on a big screen for the teams to see after their treasure hunt concludes.

If you are looking for a great pub/restaurant or hotel for your event then take a look at our round up of this years favored venues from 2015.

London – Oxford Street

One of the greatest shopping streets in the world, close to Soho and Fitzrovia.

The Crazy Bear

26-28 Whitfield Street.crazy bear

My absolute favourite bar of the year. This place oozes cool. The cocktail bar downstairs is the epitome of chic. Upstairs is a Thai restaurant with sushi being made right in front of your eyes.

The staff are wonderful and Tom Downing runs it impeccably.

Set within Academy of Medical Sciences this venue has an exclusive feel. The rooftop terrace is a delight and prefect for a summer BBQ or Champagne reception.

London – Waterloo

Stretching across the South Bank this is the home of our Go Boat package.  This package has a real arts feel to it.

Great pub food, great value and good internet connections plus a private room downstairs make this a very usable venue.

The Dandelyondan

Gold Lacquer, pink leather and the finest cocktails in all of London.  Flavour is abound.

Mr Lyon we salute you.

London – Covent Garden

Our latest package, and a firm favourite already. Not least for us as we get to enjoy a drink and a meal while our clients are blasting around. We look forward to trying out many more venues here soon. Covent Garden’s links to the performing arts and its bars and restaurants make it perfect for a follow on meal.

This is a must as long as you are a carnivore, the 18 hour slow roast beef brisket is a meal to physically and mentally prepare yourself for. The bar is also a sight to behold if you can’t find what you want here it’s not worth drinking.

A busy bar with fast pub grub. Fish and chips is great. Loud fun and close to everything.

Modern, conference facilities very helpful staff and a huge sports pitch. Just a short walk to the town centre.

Stratford upon Avon

The Garrick Inn16694

25 High Street

This is a pub with real history. Very popular with tourists, but with a good mix of areas and some lovely food.

Perfect for smaller groups.

The Keys and Kitchenkeys

Cross Keys, 6 Ely St

When I was a kid this was the Cross Keys, a Bikers pub with a great reputation for live music and the odd fight.

Today it’s seen a makeover and combines a family pub feel with gastro pub food and decor. The back garden is HUGE and dogs are very welcome.

Live music is still very important acts on most weeks, and the only fights now are on the TV.

The Boroughthe-borough-sleep-large

I didn’t exactly host the event from here BUT I did spend two days watching four different events play out. The beer is exceptional as the pub has its own brewery. The staff is very happy to let you sample the brews until you find one you like. I liked them all.

The Pub is also a guests house, I’ll be staying here next time.

Breakfast is substantial enough to satisfy but not so huge it bloats you.  All of the produced is first rate.

This is a popular pub, but if you find yourself in Lancaster it’s a must visit.

Istanbul – Turkey

Park Bosphorus Istanbul Hotellobby-1

İnönü Cd. No:8, Turkey

The epitome of a first class Eastern Hotel. marble, huge chandeliers, the coolest shesha/cocktail  bar  and some very.

It’s also very close to one of the best Turkish Delight/Baklava shops in Turkey.

A magnificent taste of the orient.

Combine anyone of these great venues with our treasure hunts and you we guarantee you will have an event to remember, as long as you don’t spend to much in the bar after the event 🙂
